Happy chance. The happy model.

I love my job for the fortuitous encounters that it sometimes induces … the model with the harmonica is one of them. This laughing man, an employee of a hotel on the Atlantic Ocean. With Tania Panova, the photographer with whom I have collaborated for 20 years, we chose the beach and the waves as part of the last shoot for my home textiles collection. I wanted to anchor the images in nature… but with a surreal touch. Cacti on the beach and … a perched man who came to us. Larbi, the man with the harmonica, became spontaneously a model.

J’aime mon métier pour les rencontres fortuites qu’il induit parfois… celle du mannequin à l’harmonica en est une. Cet homme rieur, employé de l’hôtel du bord de mer. Avec Tania Panova, la photographe avec laquelle je collabore depuis 20 ans, nous avions choisi la plage et les vagues comme cadre du dernier shooting de la marque de linge de maison, V.Barkowski. Des prises de vue que j’ai souhaité inscrire dans la nature. Oui mais avec une touche surréaliste. Des cactus sur la plage et… un homme perché qui est venu à nous. Larbi, l’homme à l’harmonica s’est proposé comme mannequin. Spontanément.

Joy and linens.

Larbi likes to be photographed. He is merry, he dances, he laughs. He makes the linen twirl in the wind. By his naturalness, his spontaneity, he brought a surprising dynamics to the shooting and seduced the whole V.Barkowski team. He played the game for us, for him, to have a good time. For a moment and a few pictures, he incarnated the unexpected model of the V.Barkowski brand.

De la joie et du linge de maison.

Larbi aime être pris en photo. Il est joyeux, il danse, il rit. Il fait virevolter le linge dans le vent. Par son naturel, sa spontanéité, il a apporté une dynamique surprenante au shooting et a séduit l’ensemble de l’équipe V.Barkowski. Il a joué le jeu pour nous, pour lui, pour passer un bon moment. Il a incarné, le temps de quelques photos, le mannequin inattendu de la marque V.Barkowski.
