Autumn fragments in Marrakech

Autumn in our garden. First, we harvest olives and dates. Then, palm trees are pruned while lemons and mandarins are growing in the next few months. Our permaculture vegetable garden blossoms with winter vegetables. In fact, the list of tasks to be accomplished is long but everything is done with joy, humor and generosity. With immense pleasure i enjoy these bursts of life.

In Marrakesh the dates are mainly used to feed kettle. In our case, the sheeps.

Fragments of our life. A simple, sober, minimal life under the sun and palm trees of Marrakesh. Once you live surrounded by nature you have everything.

The art of slowliving in Marrakesh

Autumn fragments… Colors and flavours.

The art of slow living. Marrakesh autumn fragments

Do you know that we have a riad in the medina of Marrakesh. There we do not have palm trees but a courtyard with a fountain and 4 orange trees.  In our own way we create an other “art of slow living” in the old city. There time stands still, a lifestyle from other times. Our traditional house, from the beginning of the 17th century, is a oasis. You can book your stay and rent the house with family or friends. Check out Dar Kawa, we are not on booking…
