Misaotra doll project for the Merci Endowment Fund Paris
For the tenth anniversary, Merci Paris celebrates the work of its Merci Endowment Fund with a solidary and cultural event named MISAOTRA. It means MERCI in Madagascar. Creative minds from different areas around art and culture as well as partners of the store were invited to create a personal object with strong symbolic meaning – a doll. I accepted the call and created my personal “one of a kind” version.

Pour le dixième anniversaire, Merci Paris célèbre le travail de Fonds de dotation Merci avec un événement solidaire et culturel nommé MISAOTRA. MERCI en malgache. Les esprits créatifs de différents domaines de l’art et de la culture, ainsi que les partenaires du magasin, ont été invités à créer un objet personnel doté d’une forte signification symbolique: une poupée. J’ai accepté l’appel et ai créé ma version personnelle et pièce unique.
All dolls – one nicer and more bizarre than the other – will be exhibited from March 14th to 26th and auctioned on March 26th. The main goal of this event and the auction proceeds will bring relief to isolated populations in the South West of the Great Island (Madagascar), as well as support projects initiated by the Merci Endowment Fundin France
Toutes les poupées seront exposées du 14 au 26 mars et vendues aux enchères le 26 mars. L’objectif principal de cet événement et du produit de la vente aux enchères sera d’aider les populations isolées du sud-ouest de la grande île (Madagascar), ainsi que de soutenir des projets initiés par le Fonds de dotation Merci en France
