A saadian house from the 17th century in the medina of Marrakech.
In arabic this kind of house is called a “dar”, Valérie Barkowski has remodeled the place together with architect Quentin Wilbaux. Since 1997, when the house was bought, the interior design has changed several times.

En arabe ce type de maison s’appelle un “dar”, c’est avec l’architecte Quentin Wilbaux que Valérie Barkowski a entièrement repensé la maison. Depuis 1997, année où la maison a été achetée, l’aménagement intérieur a changé à plusieurs reprises.

The, one of a kind, bed of this room was designed by Alessandra Lippini and Fabrizio Bizarri.

Rooms have been kept minimal and authentic but with a warm atmosphere.
